New! We still need volunteers to facilitate workshops. Click here to choose from a list of workshops and email me at lsmith9@schools.nyc.gov to volunteer to facilitate!

Last year’s Library Fall Conference was our best ever and we’d like to make this year’s conference, 21st Century Learning in the Library, just as wonderful. But we need your help! We are expecting around 700 attendees and we need volunteers to help us on the day of the conference.

Volunteers are needed to help with registration, set up rooms for workshops, introduce the workshop presenters, give out and collect workshop evaluations, and clean up. Click the document above for a complete list of volunteer tasks. We also need volunteers the night before (from 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm) to set up tables, arrange handouts and post signage. Volunteers who agreed to set-up on the morning of the conference should arrive between 7 and 7:30am to be briefed on their tasks.

Those who are interested in volunteering should contact me at lsmith9@schools.nyc.gov with their name, phone number, e-mail and mailing address. You will be contacted before the conference with more details.

We want to make public our thanks to the many dedicated volunteers, so please respond with your confirmation by October 4th so we can include your name on the printed program.

I hope to hear from many of you soon!
